T'AI CHI CH'UAN

The Yang's Tai Chi Chuan form taught at
was abstracted by the late Grandmaster Liu Yun Chiao .
Yang's Tai Chi Chuan comes to us through Song Wei-Yi a master of Wu Dong Sword style. He taught General Xiang Xong Wu . General Xiang was one of the most famous disciples of Li Su Wen.
General Xiang taught Grandmaster Liu Yun Chiao this old version of Yang's style Tai Chi Chuan as well as sword and broadsword techniques. Grandmaster Liu later modified this Yang's style into the 32 movement form we practice today.
Sequence as follows:
- Open Tai Chi
- Hold the Ball on the Left and Right
- Part the Wild Horses Mane
- Hold the Ball on the Left then Press Palms to the Right
- Pull Down, Press Wrists, Wipe, and Uproot
- Gaze Left to Grasp and Move into Horizontal Single Whip (Dan Bian)
- Lift Hands and Play the Fiddle on the Right
- Block over Left Knee, White Crane Spreads its Wings
- Block Left, Block Right, Step, Brush Knee and Palm Strike
- Grab Opponent, Curl Right Fist Up, Parry and Punch
- Wipe and Push Down
- Return Tiger to the Mountain
- Fair Lady Weaves Shuttle Right, and Left
- Needle to the Sea Bottom
- Wipe and Fan Back
- Turn Around and Strike
- Wipe and Kick Left
- Turn Right and Heel Kick
- Block and Strike Ears
- Pounce Like a Tiger
- Pull Down and Punch the Tiger Left
- Wave Hands Like Clouds
- Block Left, White Snake Spits Out Tongue
- Punch Fist under Elbow
- Repulse the Monkey and Strike Head
- Push Down and Snake Sticks Out Tongue
- Form Wu Fist and Snake Creeps Down
