Current News and Events at the Center

  • REOPENING: On Tuesday, May 12th, the Center reopened. All of our classes are going very well. We started slowly by resuming our regular schedule of classes. We are now adding more class times for our NAT students and older students. All classes will adhere to the guidelines and recommendations issued by the ODH and the CDC. All students will be required to wear masks that cover both their mouth and nose while inside the Center. Guidelines and recommendations will be discussed with students during each class. See our Photo Gallery for some pictures of the "new" normal for our Taiji class.
  • MASTER YANG XIAO DONG: Master Yang visited the Center on Saturday 10/3 and will come back to visit us again on Saturday 10/10 from 10:00AM to 12:00 Noon. During his first visit, he checked the Kwen Wu Jian form of the Advanced students. He encouraged the students to keep practicing and to do more of the Jian exercises. He then checked the 32 Yang style Taiji of the Beginning students. The students played well and he helped them with the breathing sequence while playing the form. We look forward to Master Yang's visit next Saturday. Check our Photo Gallery for pictures of Saturday's class.
  • ISSHINRYU KARATE: Melissa Argilan is offering Isshinryu Karate at the Center. This is a separate program, and not part of Body-Mind Harmony's curriculum. Please contact Melissa at 330-752-3528 for more information and checkout the school's website: www.cuyahogakarate.com
  • TAIJIQUAN: Classes have resumed at the Natatorium in Cuyahoga Falls. We are also holding in-person classes for the NAT students at the Center on Tuesdays, 5:30PM to 6:30PM. Classes at the Natatorium are held on Wednesday evenings. The Advanced class runs from 6:00 to 7:00 PM and the Beginner class runs from 5:00 to 6:00 PM. Please contact the Center if you would like additional information about these classes.
